Birthday Parties

Wondering what to do for your child’s next birthday? Celebrate at YouZeum – have fun while learning! Great for ages 5 -12!

We offer our kitchen learning lab for parties on weekends at the following times:

Saturday: 10:30 a.m., 12:30p.m., and 2:30 p.m.

Sunday: 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

• Parties must be reserved in advance.
• A $50 deposit will be charged at the time of booking (cash, check, Visa, or Mastercard only).
• Arrive twenty minutes before room reservation time if you wish to decorate.
• The party may begin and end at any time during YouZeum opening hours, but the kitchen may be used only during the scheduled time slot.
• Food, plates, cups, napkins, utensils, and tablecloths are provided by parent or host.
• Required ratio of at least 1 adult for every 5 children to serve as chaperones, free of charge.
• Please use our group entrance at the west side of the building on 6th Street.
• Please ask guests to RSVP to parent or host.

Basic party package includes:

• Admission to YouZeum for all opening hours
• Exclusive use of our kitchen learning lab for one hour
• Science demonstration and hands-on experiment
• Birthday invitations with map to the YouZeum
• YouZeum staff assistance during the party

Pricing: (members receive 10% discount)

• Up to 10 children (plus 1 adult for every 5 children) - $145 (each additional child $10)
• Up to 20 children (plus 1 adult for every 5 children) - $215 (each additional child $10; 30 person maximum)

YouZeum does not charge sales tax. There is no charge for adults, but a ratio of at least one adult for every five children is required. Adult party guests will serve as chaperones for the YouZeum exhibition floor. We are in the process of developing pre-K level programming.
